We had a show cause notice for over ₹700 crore on an RCM matter. Three other firms reviewed it and said the exposure was real. Arjun S Raghav & Co got 96% of the demand dropped. I don't think we appreciated how serious it was until we saw what a properly constructed defence looked like.
The DGGI issued a demand for reversal of our entire input tax credit for four years, over ₹200 crore. Our internal team had been managing it.
